Moody's lifts London Stock Exchange view to positive

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed London Stock Exchange Group plc's A3 local- and foreign-currency long-term issuer and senior unsecured debt ratings and prime-2 local- and foreign-currency commercial-paper ratings.

Moody's also said it affirmed London Stock Exchange plc's A3 local- and foreign-currency long-term issuer ratings.

The outlooks were changed to positive from stable.

Moody's also said it decided to withdraw the companies' instrument-level outlooks for its own business reasons.

The ratings reflect the stability of the company's strategic positioning and the strength of its financial profile, the agency said.

These attributes have remained in place following the leadership transition with a new CEO and a new Chairman in place, Moody's said.
