Former Charlotte Russe Holding eyes three-month exclusivity extension

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Feb. 28 – CR Holding Liquidating, Inc., formerly Charlotte Russe Holding, Inc., is seeking an extension of its exclusive periods for filing and soliciting votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to a motion filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

CR Holding is asking the court to extend its exclusive plan-filing period by 90 days through June 1 and the solicitation period through July 27.

According to the motion, following its sale process, the company continues to work with multiple parties, including its remaining secured creditors, pre-bankruptcy lenders and the official committee of unsecured creditors to negotiate terms of a plan of liquidation that will provide the framework for the ultimate disposition of the Chapter 11 cases.

“The extensions are sought to continue to negotiate a plan that will have the support of the committee and all voting classes,” the motion said.

A hearing is scheduled for March 30.

Charlotte Russe is a San Diego-based women's apparel company. The company filed bankruptcy on Feb. 3, 2019 under Chapter 11 case number 19-10210.
