By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., May 10 – The week ended with a slow trickle of activity in the private placement markets, all in Scandinavia.

Helsinki, Finland-based Fellow Finance plc, a crowdfunding services provider, said it is considering a private placement of unsecured notes to raise around €15 million, and Lyse AS, a power company based in Stavanger, Norway, said it sold a registered bond in the German markets.

Fellow eyes €15 million

Fellow Finance plans a private placement of unsecured notes to raise around €15 million with an eye toward lowering the company’s average interest rate on debt.

Proceeds will be used to refinance existing loans, to diversify financing sources, for business growth and for general corporate purposes.

Lyse wraps €30 million

Lyse placed a €30 million 25-year Namensschulddverschreibung in the German market.

SEB was the arranger.
