Astria Health disclosure statement approval hearing moved to Oct. 8

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 23 – Astria Health’s disclosure statement approval hearing has been continued to Oct. 8, according to a notice filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Washington.

The hearing was most recently scheduled for Sept. 24, after being postponed from Sept. 2 and Aug. 19.

As previously reported, Astria said last month that it, and the official committee of unsecured creditors appointed for its Chapter 11 case, has continued discussions regarding a possible settlement of their disclosure statement-related disputes.

Astria Health is a Yakima, Wash., health care facility operator. The company filed bankruptcy on May 6, 2019 under Chapter 11 case number 19-01189.
