Bank of China Macau’s Amipeace launches HK$20 billion note program

Concord, N.H., Oct. 20 – Bank of China Ltd., Macau Branch’s Amipeace Ltd. has initiated a HK$20 billion medium-term note program, according to an Oct. 19 offering circular published by the Hong Kong Exchange.

The issuer is wholly owned by Bank of China Group Investment Ltd., and the program is guaranteed by the lender’s Macau branch. Bank of China is the arranger and dealer.

The notes will be issued under Regulation S and may be denominated in other currencies, which will be translated into Hong Kong dollars at the date of issue so as not to exceed the maximum principal amount of the program.

The notes may be issued on a syndicated and non-syndicated basis.

The bank is based in Beijing.
