Boyd Gaming files $750 million shelf registration

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 12 - Boyd Gaming Corp. filed a $750 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, preferred stock, debt securities, warrants and units.

The securities may be structured as convertibles.

Boyd, a Las Vegas-based gaming company, will use proceeds for general corporate purposes unless specified otherwise at the time of sale.
