Mineral Resources sets talk on $1 billion offering of 5.5-year, eight-year senior notes

Portland, Ore., April 26 – Mineral Resources Ltd. plans to price $1 billion of senior notes (Ba3//BB) on Thursday, according to market sources.

The Rule 144A and Regulation S for life deal features a minimum of $400 million 5.5-year notes, non-callable for 2.5 years, with initial guidance of 8% to 8¼%.

The offering also features a minimum of $400 million eight-year notes, non-callable for three years, with initial guidance of 8½% to 8¾%.

JPMorgan will run the books.

The Perth, Australia-based producer of iron ore, lithium and manganese plans to use the proceeds to fund capital expenditures.
