S&P rates AerCap notes BBB-
S&P said it assigned a BBB- rating to the proposed senior unsecured notes issued by AerCap Holdings NV's wholly owned subsidiaries AerCap Ireland Capital Designated Activity Co. and AerCap Global Aviation Trust.
The notes are guaranteed by AerCap Holdings and various AerCap subsidiaries, S&P said.
The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including acquiring aircraft and repaying debt.
Both entities also are issuing an add-on to their existing 4.875% senior unsecured notes due 2024.
The rating on those notes is unchanged, S&P said.
