Z Gallerie’s official committee of unsecured creditors appointed

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 26 – DirectBuy Home Improvement, Inc., which does business as Z Gallerie, had its official committee of unsecured creditors appointed, according to a notice filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

The members are Brookfield Properties Retail, Inc., based in Chicago, Second Paramus Associates, LLC, based in Paramus, N.J., Giltner Logistics, Inc., based in Twin Falls, Idaho, Simon Property Group, Inc., based in Indianapolis, and Torreno 139th LLC, based in San Fransisco.

Z Gallerie is a Gardena, Calif.-based furniture retailer. The company filed bankruptcy on Oct. 16 under Chapter 11 case number 23-19159.
