Guotai Junan launches new $3 billion medium-term note program

Buffalo, N.Y., Nov. 3 – China’s Guotai Junan Holdings Ltd. launched a new $3 billion medium-term note program (Baa1), according to notices and an offering circular on Thursday.

Notes issued under the Regulation S program will be guaranteed by Guotai Junan Securities Co., Ltd.

Arrangers and dealers for notes will be Guotai Junan International and Standard Chartered Bank.

Listing for the 12-month program is expected on the Hong Kong Exchange effective Nov. 3.

Guotai Junan is a Hong Kong-based investment holding company.
