Entergy Mississippi lines up offering of first mortgage bonds

Chicago, Nov. 10 – Entergy Mississippi, LLC is offering first mortgage bonds with a fixed rate, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes have a make-whole call and a par call.

Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. and U.S. Bancorp Investments, Inc. are the bookrunners.

Legal counsel is being provided by Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP (New York), Wise Carter Child & Caraway (Mississippi) and Duggins Wren Mann & Romero, LLP (Texas).

The underwriters are being advised by Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP.

Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee.

Proceeds will be used to repurchase or redeem outstanding securities either at maturity or early and for general corporate purposes.

Entergy Mississippi is a Jackson, Miss.-based energy provider.
