Advanced Medical wraps $247,800 private placement of convertible notes

Company sells 10% notes due 2013 with 99,120 common shares in deal

Knoxville, Tenn., April 16 - Advanced Medical Isotope Corp. settled a $132,800 private placement of 10% convertible notes on April 12, according to an 8-K filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. It raised $115,000 by selling 10% convertible notes to the same investor on March 22.

The first-tranche note matures on March 22, 2013 and is convertible at any time into common shares at $0.14 per share. The conversion price is identical to the March 21 closing share price.

The second-tranche note matures on April 12, 2013 and is convertible at any time into common shares at $0.09 per share. The conversion price is a 35.71% discount to the March 21 closing share price of $0.14.

The investor also received 46,000 common shares in the first tranche and 53,120 shares in the second.

The Kennewick, Wash., company is engaged in the production and distribution of medical isotopes and medical isotope technologies.
