Moody's rates SATA Air notes Ba1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Ba1 rating to the €65 million guaranteed unsecured notes due 2028 issued by SATA Air Acores, SA.

The outlook is stable.

The assigned Ba1 rating is based solely upon the unconditional and irrevocable guarantee of scheduled principal and interest provided by the Autonomous Region of Azores, Moody's said.

SATA Air is one of six airlines owned by SATA. SATA plays a major role in providing accessibility for those who live on the islands, Moody's explained.
