S&P rates NH Investment A-

S&P said it assigned its A- long-term and A-2 short-term issuer credit ratings to NH Investment & Securities Co. Ltd.

The outlook is stable.

“The ratings reflect our view that NHIS will maintain its strong market position in Korea's securities industry, with diversified revenue streams and adequate capitalization relative to its risk profile over the next 18-24 months,” the agency said in a news release.

“We also believe the company will maintain its adequate funding and liquidity profile as a core subsidiary of NongHyup Financial Group (NHFG).”
