Advanced Magnetics gets buy rating from Jefferies

Jefferies & Co., Inc. analyst Adam Walsh rated Advanced Magnetics, Inc. at buy following discussions with clinical investigators in the phase 3 ferumoxytol trials. The analyst believes safety has been clean since Jefferies' August channel checks. This October, the Data Safety Monitoring Board should provide validation for ferumoxytol safety during the last 4 months. Shares of the Cambridge, Mass.-based pharmaceutical products company were up 8 cents, or 0.24%, at $33.97. (Nasdaq: AMAG)
