Boomerang Tube creditors committee asks for adjournment of hearing

By Mark Reccek

Bethlehem, Pa., Aug. 4 – Boomerang Tube LLC’s creditors committee requested adjournment of its disclosure statement hearing, according to a motion filed Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company is asking the court to adjourn the hearing to Aug. 25 from Aug. 11.

Boomerang Tube said the adjournment will permit interested parties to perform due diligence, gather and disclose certain missing information and allow the committee to fulfill its required statutory and fiduciary duties.

Boomerang Tube is a St. Louis-based producer of oil country tubular goods and line pipe that filed for bankruptcy on June 9. The Chapter 11 case number is 15-11247.
