Moody's assigns Aaa to Temasek notes

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aaa rating to the planned five-year Singapore dollar-denominated senior unsecured notes to be sold by Temasek Financial (IV) Private Ltd., a wholly owned financing subsidiary of Temasek Holdings (Pte.) Ltd.

The notes will be issued under Temasek Financial’s S$5 billion guaranteed medium-term note program rated (P)Aaa and guaranteed by Temasek.

The proceeds will be used by Temasek and its investment holding companies to fund their ordinary course of business.

The outlook is stable.
