Kuantum Papers board approves plans to offer convertible securities

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 9 – Kuantum Papers Ltd. informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its board approved plans to issue debt instruments or other financial instruments convertible into equity shares.

The company will seek further approval for the sale at an extraordinary general meeting on Nov. 3.

The Chandigarh, India, company runs a paper mill, which produces writing and printing paper.
