S&P lifts Advanced Info Service outlook to stable

Standard & Poor's said it revised the outlook on Advanced Info Service Public Co. Ltd. to stable from negative.

At the same time, S&P said it affirmed its A- corporate credit rating on the company, noting that the outlook revision reflects its expectation of reduced competitive pressure and a lower likelihood that regulatory changes will affect Advanced Info Service's credit profile.

The agency said that the rating on Advanced Info Service reflects favorable market position as the company's strong brand recognition, service quality and extensive network coverage give it a clear lead over its competitors.
