World Bank plans seven-year notes on Global Sustainability Signatories

Chicago, Sept. 10 – International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) plans to price seven-year notes (AAA/Aaa/) linked to the Global Sustainability Signatories Index 7.5% VC ER.

The payout at maturity will be par, according to an announcement by UBS, which is the provider of financial products referencing the index, created by Sustainalytics and administered by index provider Solactive.

The offering will conclude on Oct. 22.

UBS is the underwriter.

Proceeds will be used to support World Bank’s sustainable development activities.

The index 7 provides exposure to up to 100 UN Global Compact Signatories selected according to their environmental, social and governance ratings from Sustainalytics.
