S&P rates Banco de Chile notes A

S&P said it assigned an A rating to a proposed offering by Banco de Chile of PEN 40 million of senior unsecured notes due 2034.

The rating mirrors the rating on the bank’s other senior unsecured debt.

The offering is part of the bank’s medium-term note program

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
