New Issue: Boeing Capital sells $1 billion five-, 10-year senior notes

New York, Oct. 22 - Boeing Capital Corp. sold $1 billion of senior notes (A2/A/A+) evenly split into two tranches on Thursday, an informed source said.

The $500 million of 3.25% five-year notes priced at 99.78 to yield 3.298%, or Treasuries plus 95 basis points. They have a make-whole call at Treasuries plus 20 bps.

A $500 million tranche of 4.7% 10-year notes priced at 99.929 to yield 4.709%, or 130 bps over Treasuries. The tranche is callable at 25 bps over Treasuries.

Both tranches were sold in line with price guidance. It was in the 95 bps area, plus or minus 5 bps, the informed source said. Talk on the 30-year notes was in the 130 bps area, plus or minus 5 bps.

Credit Suisse Securities, Goldman Sachs & Co. and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. were bookrunners.

Senior co-managers were Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays Capital Inc., BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Calyon Securities, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co., RBS Securities Inc., UBS Securities and Wells Fargo.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including debt repayment, equipment purchases for leases, and loans and for funding other investments.

The commercial financing arm of aircraft maker Boeing Co. is based in Renton, Wash.
