Kyushu Electric trims conversion price of 0% bonds due 2020

New York, June 26 – Kyushu Electric Power Co. Inc. reduced the conversion price of its zero-coupon convertible bonds due 2020.

The conversion price for the 2020 bonds will be adjusted to the floor conversion price of ¥1,256 from ¥1,394.6, effective July 9.

The conversion price is being reset due to the closing price of the shares for the 30 consecutive days up to and including June 28 being at least one yen less than the conversion price in effect.

The Japanese energy company provides residential, commercial and industrial power.
