BNP Paribas plans three-year digital buffered notes linked to S&P 500

New York, April 4 – BNP Paribas plans to price 0% digital buffered notes due April 29, 2019 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a term sheet.

The payout at maturity will be par plus a digital payment of between 18.5% and 23.5% if the index gains. If the index falls by up to 15% the payout will be par. Investors will be exposed to any loss beyond the 15% buffer.

The exact digital payment and buffer will be set at pricing.

BNP Paribas is the agent.

The notes will price on April 26 and settle on April 29.

The Cusip number is 05579TMN3.
