BNP Paribas plans buffered notes tied to Dow Jones industrial average

Tacoma, Wash., June 10 – BNP Paribas plans to price 0% buffered notes due June 29, 2018 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a term sheet.

If the final index level is greater than or equal to the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the index return. Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to the buffer amount and will be exposed to any decline beyond the buffer amount.

The buffer amount is expected to be 15% and will be set at pricing.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp. is the agent. Advisors Asset Management, Inc. is distributor.

The notes are expected to price June 25 and settle June 30.

The fees are expected to be 2.75%.

The Cusip number is 05579T2D7.
