BNP Paribas plans buffered return enhanced notes linked to S&P 500

Tacoma, Wash., Feb. 19 - BNP Paribas plans to price 0% buffered return enhanced notes due Aug. 30, 2016 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a term sheet.

If the final index level is greater than or equal to the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times the index return, subject to a maximum return of 22.5% to 27.5% that will be set at pricing. Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines the 10% buffer.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp. is the agent. Advisors Asset Management, Inc. is distributor.

The notes are expected to price Feb. 25 and settle Feb. 28.

The Cusip number is 05574LW79.
