Alta Mesa Kingfisher Midstream debtors’ cash collateral use extended

Pittsburgh, June 2 – Alta Mesa Resources, Inc.’s Kingfisher Midstream, LLC debtors’ cash collateral use expiration date has been extended, according to a notice filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Specifically, the Kingfisher debtors’ access to cash collateral will expire on the earliest of occurrence of an event of default, July 3, extended from May 27, and the effective date of a Chapter 11 plan.

As previously reported, the Alta Mesa debtors’ and the Kingfisher debtors’ plans were confirmed on May 27.

Alta Mesa is an onshore oil and gas company based in Houston. It filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 11, 2019. The Chapter 11 case number is 19-35133.
