Fitch assigns Enel Chile, notes A-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned first-time long-term foreign-currency and local-currency issuer default ratings of A- to Enel Chile SA. Fitch also assigned an A- rating to the company’s $1 billion of notes due 2028.

“Enel Chile`s ratings reflect the company’s solid credit metrics and adequate liquidity profile, after completing the restructuring process, consolidating the company’s leadership position in the Chilean electricity market and better aligning shareholders’ interests,” Fitch said in a press release.

The outlook is stable.
