Court closes HCR ManorCare Chapter 11 case after plan confirmation

Pittsburgh, Oct. 3 – HCR ManorCare, Inc.’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy case was closed on Tuesday, according to an order filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
As previously reported, HCR ManorCare’s amended plan of reorganization was confirmed by the court on June 21.
HCR ManorCare is a Toledo, Ohio-based provider of short-term, post-acute services and long-term care. The company filed for bankruptcy on March 4, 2018 under Chapter 11 case number 18-10467.
