HCR ManorCare reports $8.55 million net loss for July, zero revenue

Pittsburgh, Sept. 5 – HCR ManorCare, Inc. reported an $8.55 million net loss for July on zero revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
In comparison, HCR ManorCare posted $1.25 million of net profit for June, also on zero revenue.
The July results included $8.4 million in estate professional fees.
The company had $21.34 million in unrestricted cash and equivalents as of July 31, down from $23.14 million at the end of June.
HCR ManorCare is a Toledo, Ohio-based provider of short-term, post-acute services and long-term care. The company filed for bankruptcy on March 4 under Chapter 11 case number 18-10467.
