Korea’s Shinhan announces $5 billion global medium-term note program

Knoxville, Tenn., July 14 – Shinhan Financial Group Co. Ltd. established a new $5 billion global medium-term note program, according to an announcement.

Citigroup is the arranger and BNP Paribas, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, J.P. Morgan, Mizuho Securities and Shinhan Investment Corp. are dealers for the program.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The financial holding company is based in Seoul, South Korea.
