By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Aug. 20 – MGTF Radio Co., LLC and WPNT, Inc., which do business as Steel City Media, obtained an extension of their access to cash collateral and of their exclusive period for filing a Chapter 11 plan through Sept. 19, according to orders filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

The Steel City debtors’ exclusive period for soliciting votes on a Chapter 11 plan was extended to Nov. 18.

As previously reported, the company is using the cash collateral of its pre-bankruptcy lenders to provide working capital while in bankruptcy.

Steel City is a Pittsburgh-based radio station owner. The company filed bankruptcy on March 20 under Chapter 11 case number 18-41671.
