New Issue: Advanced Cell wraps $3.86 million placement of convertibles

Knoxville, Tenn., March 31 - Advanced Cell Technology, Inc. said it completed a $3.86 million private placement of amortizing senior secured convertible debentures.
The company intends to use the proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, including additions to working capital, and to finance the further development of the company's clinical programs.
Advanced Cell is an Alameda, Calif., biotechnology company.
