GreenTech Automotive posts $145,331 operating loss for May, no revenue

Pittsburgh, July 9 – GreenTech Automotive Inc. reported a $145,331 operating loss for May on zero net operating revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

In comparison, GreenTech posted a $154,360 operating loss for April, also on zero net operating revenue.

The net loss for May was $3.07 million, widening from a $630,636 April net loss.

The company had $133,818 in cash and cash equivalents as of May 31, down from $198,799 at the end of April.

GreenTech is a Sterling, Va.-based electric vehicle manufacturer. The company filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 26, 2018 under Chapter 11 case number 18-10651.
