GreenTech Automotive posts $320,291 operating loss for May

Pittsburgh, June 28 – GreenTech Automotive Inc. reported a $320,291 operating loss for May on zero operating revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
In comparison, GreenTech posted a $152,368 operating loss for April on $192,080 in operating revenue.
The net loss for May was $1.96 million, widening from a $1.14 million April net loss.
The company had $1.27 million in cash and cash equivalents as of May 31, up from $84,472 at the end of April.
GreenTech is a Sterling, Va.-based electric vehicle manufacturer. The company filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 26 under Chapter 11 case number 18-10651.
