Moody’s rates Lantmannen Baa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa3 long-term issuer rating to Lantmannen Ekonomisk Forening, Sweden's largest agricultural cooperative that supplies grains, seed, feed, flour, food such as frozen and fresh bread, bioenergy, farming and construction machinery in the Nordics and rest of Europe.

The outlook is stable.

"Lantmannen's Baa3 rating reflects the cooperative's strong position in the Nordics, large market share and the company's diverse set of operations with little correlation between segment profitability," Daniel Harlid, Moody's assistant vice president, analyst and lead analyst for Lantmannen, said in a news release.
