Stroock adds Daniel Fliman to restructuring group as partner

Columbus, Ohio, Feb. 15 – Stroock has added Daniel Fliman to its Financial Restructuring Group as a partner on Thursday, according to a press release.

Fliman joins from Kasowitz Benson Torres, where he was a partner.

His practice includes all aspects of financial restructuring, with an emphasis on strategic litigation.

Fliman’s clients include creditors, shareholders, boards, investors, asset purchasers and debtors.

He has been involved in the Puerto Rico Title III proceeding and the Toys “R” Us and Westinghouse Chapter 11 cases.

He previously had significant roles in the Lehman Brothers, J.Crew, Sabine Oil & Gas and Caesars Entertainment cases, according to the release.
