New Issue: GS Finance prices $2 million commodity-linked notes on basket

Buffalo, N.Y., Oct. 25– GS Finance Corp. priced $2 million of 0% commodity-linked notes due Oct. 22, 2025 linked to the performance of an equally-weighted basket of eight commodities, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of U.S. Dollar LBMA Gold Price PM, ICE Brent Crude futures contract, natural gas futures contract, corn futures contract, soybean futures contract, wheat futures contracts, copper and zinc.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.43 times the basket return, subject to a floor of par.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is the agent with UBS Financial Services Inc. as selling agent.
