Former Katy Industries’ operating loss $26,454 for Aug. 27-Sept. 30

Pittsburgh, Nov. 6 – KII Liquidating Inc., formerly Katy Industries, Inc., reported a $26,454 operating loss for the period of Aug. 27 to Sept. 30 on zero net sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

In comparison, KII posted a $147,975 operating loss for the period of July 29 to Aug. 26, also on zero net sales.

The net profit for the September period was $323,953, improving from a $1.4 million net loss for the previous period.

In addition, the company had $3.74 million of cash as of Sept. 30, down from $3.85 million at Aug. 26.

Katy, a St. Louis-based manufacturer, importer and distributor of commercial cleaning and consumer storage products, filed for bankruptcy on May 14. The Chapter 11 case number is 17-11101.
