S&P: Standard Life Aberdeen bonds BBB+

S&P said it assigned a BBB+ issue rating to the proposed dated subordinated callable bonds of Standard Life Aberdeen plc and assigned an A long-term foreign currency issuer credit rating to the company, in line with the local currency issuer credit rating.

The outlook is stable.

The agency said the rating is based on S&P’s understanding that holders of the proposed bonds will be subordinated to Standard Life's senior creditors.
