BlackRock intends to conduct offering of notes via five bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., April 17 – BlackRock Inc. plans to offer dollar-denominated notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes feature a make-whole call and then a par call.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Barclays, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. are the joint bookrunners.
Proceeds will be used to fund a portion of the company’s planned acquisition of eFront Holding SAS, to repay its 6.255% notes due 2019, to repay commercial paper and for general corporate purposes.
The investment management company is based in New York.
