BlackRock announces additional closed-end fund reorganization details

Minneapolis, Jan. 26 - BlackRock Advisors, LLC announced that shareholders of BlackRock Equity Dividend Trust (BDV) and BlackRock Enhanced Equity Dividend Trust (BDJ) approved the reorganization of each of (a) BDV with and into BDJ and (b) BlackRock Strategic Equity Dividend Trust with and into BDJ, according to a press release.

The company said it expects the reorganizations to be completed Feb. 24.

BlackRock is an investment management firm based in New York City.
