Moody’s assigns A3 to Codelco notes

Moody’s Investors Service said it assigned an A3 rating to Corporacion Nacional del Cobre de Chile’s (Codelco) proposed senior notes due 2029 and 2050.

Codelco is rated A3, which reflects its status as a government-related issuer, Moody’s said.

Proceeds will be used for liability management and general corporate purposes.

The outlook is stable.
