Geo Energy cancels proposed offering of dollar five-year notes

New York, July 24 – Geo Energy Resources Ltd. has canceled its proposed offering of dollar-denominated five-year notes due to market conditions, according to a company news release on Monday.

The deal was to have been issued by subsidiary Geo Coal International Pte. Ltd.

The proposed offering of notes (expected ratings: B2/B/B+) began an investor roadshow on July 10.

JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank were acting as joint global coordinators, bookrunners and lead managers, and BOC International was acting as joint bookrunner and lead manager for the Rule 144A and Regulation S notes.

The company is a coal mining company based in Singapore.
