Moody’s rates Athene notes Baa1
Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa1 rating to the planned $600 million of senior unsecured notes to be issued by Athene Holding Ltd.
The rating is in line with Moody’s ratings on Athene’s outstanding senior unsecured notes.
The proceeds are expected to be used for general corporate purposes, including capital contributions to Athene's insurance subsidiaries to support growth.
The outlook for Athene is unchanged at stable.
