New Issue: Athene sells upsized $500 million 3.45% notes due 2052 at Treasuries plus 157 bps

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 8 – Athene Holding Ltd. sold an upsized $500 million offering of 3.45% notes due May 15, 2052 (A-/BBB) at 99.983 to yield 3.451% on Wednesday, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes priced with a spread of Treasuries plus 157 basis points, low to talk in the Treasuries plus 180 bps area reported by a market source.

The offering was announced with a $400 million size.

BofA Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Athene is a Pembroke, Bermuda-based retirement services company.
