Moody's: Banco do Brasil Bolivia to negative

Moody's Investors said it affirmed Banco do Brasil SA (Bolivia)'s ratings and changed the outlook on its Ba2 global scale local-currency deposit rating to negative from stable.

The outlook revision follows the change of the outlook of Banco do Brasil's local-currency deposit ratings to negative from stable.

As a branch of Banco do Brasil, the Bolivian branch carries its home office's ratings subject to Bolivian country ceilings, Moody's said.

The Bolivian bank's ratings will face downward pressure if the parent bank's ratings are downgraded, the agency noted.
