By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, May 4 – Groen Gas Oude-Tonge BV entered into a loan agreement with Rabobank for €4.95 million in three tranches on Wednesday as it is in the process of developing an anaerobic digestion plant, according to a press release.

The loans include €3.15 million and €1.7 million tranches, each with 12.25-year tenors and a fixed annual interest rate of 3.1% for the first five years, repayable in equal monthly installments starting three months after connection of the Oude Tonge Project’s facility to the grid.

There is also an on-call credit facility of €100,000 with variable interest.

The digestion plant in Oude Tonge, the Netherlands, is expected to have a green gas production capacity of about 475 Nm3/h.
