New Issue: HSBC sells $1 million barrier digital notes linked to biotech ETF

Chicago, Feb. 22 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $1 million 0% barrier digital notes due May 9, 2023 linked to the SPDR S&P Biotech ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the ETF return is above the 50% barrier level, the payout will be par plus the 6.25% digital upside return.

If the ETF falls by more than 50%, investors will be fully exposed to the ETF decline.
