Westinghouse Electric seven-member unsecured creditors committee named

Pittsburgh, April 10 – Westinghouse Electric Co. LLC’s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Friday by Region 2 U.S. Trustee William K. Harrington, according to a notice filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The committee members are James M. Lucas of Fluor Enterprises Inc. of Irving, Texas; Peter Gorman of SSM Industries, Inc. of Pittsburgh; Shahram Eshaghoff of Dastech International Inc. of Great Neck, N.Y.; Jimmy E. Addison of South Carolina Electric and Gas Co. of Cayce, S.C.; Meredith M. Lakey of Georgia Power Co., based in Atlanta; J.C. Pelusi of Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. of Pittsburgh; and Cynthia Wong of Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., based in Washington, D.C.

Westinghouse, a Cranberry Township, Pa.-based nuclear products and services company and a subsidiary of Toshiba, filed bankruptcy on March 29. The Chapter 11 case number is 17-10751.
